  1. note to self – regina spektor should be on here.

note to everyone else – a second installment may be coming soon.

  2. very nice, will definitely check out some of these albums! have you heard Ursell Anning’s (no words) end of the year mix? anyone with a taste for folk should definitely check it out:

  3. Wow, this is an amazing list! I want to go out and get all of these albums tat do do not have! I really like Lissy Trullie and Xx a lot and have never heard of them before. I like The Big Pink more and more every time I listen to them.

Forgetting ‘Far’ is understandable; I think it should just be assumed to be on every best of ’09 compilation made this year 😉

    ‘Part 2’ would be awesome!

  4. Hey lady, love your list. I got a little lazy and never made one, but The Antlers were definitely at the top. If you haven’t spent some time with it, I highly recommend it. Lots of love.
